FARM FRESH QUALITY 

We are a small family-run hobby farm in beautiful British Columbia, located in Quesnel. We try to maintain self sufficient living by growing fruit and vegetables from our gardens and also raising pork and poultry.
The few breeds we have selected are for their hardiness and utility. Being in the cariboo-central interior BC, we have to look for cold-hardy chickens. Frostbite is a concern and some hens will stop laying in winter due to the short days and expend all their energy keeping warm in the extreme cold.
